Visit NLA for fun family activities. Parents and children can learn together hearing the story of London’s development and future plans with drop-in workshops, family tours and storytelling.

Schools
Calling all budding architects, engineers, planners and builders! NLA's Schools & Young People’s programme to inspire the next generation about London’s built environment and the huge range of careers available within it.
Teachers can arrange a self-guided visit, or book a bespoke talk, workshop or tour. We also run free extracurricular workshops for young people to attend in their spare time.
Young People
NLA's pioneering programme for Young People aims to inspire the next generation about London’s built environment and the huge range of careers within it.
The programme promotes STEAM careers in Planning, Construction, Architecture, Landscape Design and Urban Regeneration through networking sessions and careers advice evenings. All sessions are free!
Model Talks
NLA’s giant interactive model of central London brings the story of London’s historical and physical development to life. Free lunchtime talks give visitors the opportunity to learn firsthand about London’s newest architecture and development.

Festivals
NLA hosts a range of special one-off events throughout the year for Londoners and visitors of all ages in association with our friends and partner organisations, including the London Festival of Architecture in June, Open House London in September and the Bloomsbury Festival in October.

Visit us
Our galleries in WC1 are free to enter six days a week Monday-Saturday. Drop in to see our huge interactive model of central London or visit one our free exhibitions about the changing shape of London.
