Community-led housing is becoming an increasingly viable option in London, run by individual community groups determined to build the homes that local people need and can afford.
There are, of course many challenges in terms of unlocking small sites, planning and development and legal and financial obstacles, yet there are growing numbers of local authorities and developers that see the long-term value that community-led housing can bring.
This breakfast talk explores ways of creating opportunities for community-led housing and provides some great examples from local authorities and community land trusts that are taking action.
