World famous for its football stadium, Wembley is no stranger to fast-paced development. The Wembley of today however, takes a more long-term, mixed-use outlook – evidenced by its role within the winning vision for an inclusive Borough of Culture in 2020.
Experiencing rapid transformation through the development of Quintain’s 85-acre Wembley Park and the inevitable spread of this regeneration to fringe areas, Wembley is on track to become the largest single-site purpose built PRS development anywhere in the UK, accommodating 20,000 residents, businesses and up to 15 million visitors a year.
So, how is infrastructure meeting the needs of rapid growth and 24-hour use? How are innovative construction methods helping deliver at speed and scale? What can we learn for the future of PRS in London, and what impact will tenure mix have on the local community? How are plans evolving to bring the rest of Brent along with this change and engage with the new district?
The afternoon session will bring together local stakeholders including council representatives, developers, investors, architects and occupiers to look at how investment is shaping the area. Presentations will be followed by study tours of key areas and networking drinks at Boxpark Wembley.
Please note that all study tours will be on foot so please do wear sensible footwear. It is forecast to rain on the day however all walking tours will still go ahead so if you are planning to attend a tour then please wear weather appropriate clothing.

Study Tours Toggle
Tour A – Wembley Park
Exploring the impact of Build-to-Rent, this tour will begin with a look at Quintain’s Wembley Park development and the homes and facilities provided there. The tour will also look at affordable workspace provision and key public realm improvements. It will end with a look at Europe's tallest modular building, Apex House, before heading to Wembley’s new Boxpark for networking drinks.

The revitalisation of Wembley High Road is playing a crucial role in the development of the Wembley Housing Zone. In this tour, hear about the plans for the housing zone and explore the key changes to the area, including Chesterfield House, Montrose Crescent and Brent House. The tour will end at Wembley’s new Boxpark for networking drinks.
